Long Brocade Scarf

A fashionably long and narrow scarf. The stitch pattern comes from volume three of a 1980’s English knitting series called Creative Knitting. No details of the publisher are available in this edition.
MATERIALS
    Celone by Heirloom, 50g balls, each approx 100m(109 yds) (Merino, Alpaca, Silk) or any other
    DK, Light Worsted or 8ply yarn, perhaps with a little silk.
    - 5 balls
    - One pair size 4mm needles OR size to obtain gauge
MEASUREMENTS
    15cm(6 in) x 182.5cm(72 in)
GAUGE
    21sts and 32 rows to 10cm(4 ins) over stitch pattern using 4mm needles
